control
OnGlide completely automates basic control tasks. All information is updated on the competition website in realtime so everybody else knows what's happening as well!
Control keeps track of what is happening throughout the competition. This is done using a specialised login which only shows the tasks appropriate at any given time.
The core part of the system tracks what competitors are doing. Did they launch? Have they finished? And, most importantly, quickly and easily coordinating landouts and their retrieves.

Both Control and Scoring can configure the tasks. Entry is simply by listing the trigraphs, complete with visual confirmation.

Once the grid has launched control is able to get a list of the status for each pilot. This is dynamically updated by the start & finish line so it only displays gliders that are still in the air. All columns can be sorted, and you can search for a pilot simply by typing on the keyboard

If a pilot lands out the landout screen allows you to quickly capture and confirm everything needed get them home. Quick picks allow you to directly select from most airfields in the UK, enter the distance and bearing to a turnpoint, or indicate that the glider is in the same field as another competitor.

The landout page automatically displays a map showing where the coordinates are. This ensures that you and the pilot are talking about the same place! Printing this map, and all your notes to be given to the crew is a simple click of the button.

The details captured by control are displayed on the website in the form of live results. Pilots will receive a preliminary score based on their position, and the status of their retrieve will be displayed on a map. This ensures that spectators are always in the know!
